Projects in Fortix defines the boundaries of work or a job that has been allocated to resources. The client’s details together with Delivery dates, payment terms and resources allocated to complete the job is defined.
This article explains how to add a new project in Fortix.
Navigate to the Projects page by Clicking on SALES ORDERS. Click Add New to add a new project.
The address bar link is : /?projects

The ADD NEW form opens. Complete the fields according to the Project data.


To add a new Branch, click the + sign next to the Branch fields. If any of the Branch details have changed, it can be edited by clicking on the pencil.

The EDIT BRANCH form will open where the detail of the branch can be changed.

Click SAVE when finished.

On the right side, the users who have access to this project is set. Select the user by clicking either Favourite, All or Setup.

Click on the + sign to add the approved user who has access to this project.

Ensure that the correct permissions for each user are ticked. Click SAVE to commit the new project to the system.

The new project has been added.
