Archiving in Fortix is the process of assigning Contact data that is no longer actively used to the Archived category for long-term retention. Contact archives are categorised as archived can be easily located and retrieved.
This article explains four different ways of how Customer Contacts can be Archived.
Click Customers in the heading bar under CONTACTS. The Contacts page open with a list of active Contacts / Customers. Click the Action down arrow and select Archive to archive the selected contact.
The address bar link is /?customers
To Archive multiple contact records, click the tick boxes of all the contact to archive. Click the More Menu.
A confirmation message displays the number of records that will be archived. Click SAVE to continue.
A third way to archive contacts, is to edit the contact.
The EDIT DETAIL form opens. Scroll down and find the Archived field.
Click the “Yes” radio button. Click SAVE to continue.
The verification process detects that a compulsory field has not been completed.
To by-pass the verification process, click the More Menu.
Select Archive. This will archive the contact without running the verification process on the contact.
