Users in Fortix can administer team messages on their Dashboard. The Team Messages component on the Dashboard is where messages are sent from and received. This article explains how to create, use and manage Team Messages in Fortix.
TEAM MESSAGES component is set up through the Dashboard Setup. The TEAM MESSAGES component has the “To” section on top and the “Inbox” at the bottom.

In the Dashboard Setup ensure the Team Messages component is Active.

Click on the user to who the message is being sent.

Complete the message. If it is an SMS message, click the Send SMS box. Click SEND.

The user will receive the message in the TEAM MESSAGES inbox on the Dashboard component.

Messages can be sent to multiple users who belong to a Team, a Project, those Selected or All the users on the Fortix system. Click the More Menu bars and select Team to sent to a Team of users.

Click the Tick boxes next to the Teams that the Message is for. It can be a Text message to their mobile phones. You are able to select all teams as well. Click SEND when the message is ready for the send-off.

Click Manage to add a user to the quick list.

Type the first two letters of the user name in the Search field. Click the user to be added to the shortlist.

The new user has been added to Shortlist.

To send a message to Project Team Users, Click the More Menu bars and select Project.

Select the Project Team by clicking the tick boxes next to the Project. Click SEND when the message has been prepared.

All the messages are received in the TEAM MESSAGES inbox.
