Work Requests – Creating Activities

Activity in Fortix systems is the smallest unit of work having four characteristics: definite duration, logic relationships with other activities in the project, resource consumption, and an associated cost.

This is recorded in order to better manage the project and bring it to a successful completion.

Access the Picklists page, by clicking on the square menu options on the right-hand side of the page, then clicking the Picklist icon.

Scroll down to the PROJECTS section and click Activity Categories.

To add a New Category, click the + next to Add New Category,

Click the Darkened + to commit the new category to the system.

Further ACTIVITY CATEGORIES can be added, edited or deleted.
